Ayesha and Nick had their wedding planned, postponed, and replanned for three years before we finally got to see it all come to fruition this summer at Ten Mile Station in Breckenridge, Colorado. It was an unusually wet day in the mountains, with rain coming down nearly the entire day. But, when you spend so long planning a beautiful wedding in Breckenridge, you roll with the punches and embrace whatever the weather throws at you. Ayesha and Nick did not care if they got wet. They wanted their ceremony and portraits to be outdoors amid the beauty of the mountains. And so we made it happen, with no regrets.
Getting Ready
We started the day of their Indian wedding at Ten Mile Station capturing each Nick and Ayesha getting ready. For the ceremony and portraits, Ayesha had an incredible beaded red saree, while Nick wore a traditional Sherwani with matching red embroidery and turban and sash. I just love the details in an Indian wedding. The clothing alone is so intricate and beautiful, it’s hard to stop taking the close-up detail shots.
