Hi! I'm Delia.

I've got a serious itch for travel and I love to call the mountains my home.

& I am passionate about telling your stories.

Let’s make memories together.

Most days you can find me snuggled on the couch with my 40-pound lap dog, Kirby. When I’m not bingeing on Netflix or reading a book, I’m probably either doing yoga or baking chocolate chip cookies—it all evens out in the end.

I am known for my love of puppies, books, ballet, and the Oxford comma (among other nitpicky grammar things.) But my passions are travelling the world and treating every day with my husband like an adventure, whether we’re at the beach or the DMV. The most important things in my life are my family, friends, and the people like you, who let me into your most cherished moments and trust me to capture you the way you want your stories told.

You could say I’m a sucker for a good love story. I met my husband Ryan at a high school Halloween party when I was just turning fifteen. Eight years and one 800-mile long-distance college relationship later, we got married in front of all our friends and family. I will never forget how good it felt to finally call him my husband. That was before I became a professional wedding photographer, but even then I knew my #1 priority for my own wedding was getting photos that would last a lifetime. I suppose it was only a matter of time before I’d develop a passion for capturing other people’s love stories and wedding day memories for a living.

I've been photographing weddings for four years now. In my previous life, I was an English major and my life revolved around reading and telling stories. Now, I tell stories through photos. My favorite parts of being a wedding photographer are the emotional value behind the images I capture and the personal connection I make with every single couple and family I photograph. I absolutely love my job, and it is my passion to create beautiful images that will impact you for life.

I have lived in four states: New Mexico, California, Washington, and Colorado. Each place holds a piece of my heart and while I haven't been in Colorado long, I feel like we've found our perfect home here in Colorado Springs.

I named my dog Kirby because I liked the alliteration of Kirby Kearney. (English major here!)

Before becoming a full-time wedding photographer, I worked in publishing. I was an editorial assistant, meaning I read and copyedited manuscripts all day. And I actually loved it.

While I have a wanderlusting heart, I’m actually quite the homebody. Nothing like spending a whole day in pajamas.

Cereal is my comfort food.

Well, that and green chile enchiladas with refried beans. YUM.

P.S. sorry Coloradans, but if your green chile isn’t from New Mexico, you’re doing it wrong.

All my life I thought I was a Rachel, but if I’m being honest with myself I think I’m really a Monica. (I also spend way too much time watching Friends.)
