Three Years of Wedded Bliss

Three Years of Wedded Bliss

To my husband,

I can’t believe it’s been three years now since our wedding day. It feels like forever ago and it feels like last week all at the same time.

We’ve been together a decade now. Can you believe that? It was over ten years ago that you saw me in my black cat costume at a Halloween party and asked me to dance with you. You didn’t know that at the time, you were the first boy to ask for my phone number, and neither of us knew that you would still be bringing that up to me to this very day.

We still feel like those teenagers sometimes, worrying about grades and homework, wanting to stay up late talking and push curfew. But we’ve grown so much together since then.

In the past three years alone, we have moved into our first apartment together, we’ve pursued our dream jobs, traveled to Europe, relocated across the country, and adopted our furchild. It’s been a year since we moved to Washington, and the list of places to explore in our backyard in the Pacific Northwest just keeps expanding.

I never want our adventure list to stop expanding. I am so thankful to have my best friend by my side as we walk through life together, and I can’t wait to keep finding new adventures with you for the rest of our lives. You hate public posts of sappy sentiments, but you know I love them, so here you go. Happy anniversary, my love.

Love,

Your wife
