Virginia and Michael are two sweet souls who took a while to find each other. It surely is worth the wait and the former heartbreak, because there aren’t two people more in love than these two. Their care for each other is so apparent in everything they do. When we met, Michael could not stop talking about how beautiful Virginia was, or how lucky he felt that she saw something in him. For her part, Virginia was completely smitten with Michael and his quirky sense of humor. Their banter was so adorable and I couldn’t help but laugh the entire time we were together. They wanted above all to capture their love story along with the beauty of Colorado. Thus, we embarked on an adventure for some Red Rock Canyon Open Space engagement pictures in Colorado Springs.
Red Rock Canyon is a hidden gem located near Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. The park features similar red rock formations, with two reservoirs of water set in the middle. When you look out across the water reflecting the green overgrowth and the red rocks you feel almost as though you have been set inside the Land Before Time. It’s simply beautiful Colorado landscape.
Virginia wore a gorgeous soft pink dress that flowed to the ground and then some. The dress had extra material meant perfectly to blow around dramatically in the wind, and you can be sure we took full advantage of all the glamour. Several times throughout their session, Michael stepped to the side just to behold his future bride and give her the spotlight with the camera. I told them the wedding dress had a lot to live up to. ;)
Michael dressed in all black, as if paying homage to Johnny Cash, and the look made them feel like a true celebrity couple. They claim to both work in IT, but I think secretly they’re made for Hollywood. But you let me know what you think.
