Zoya and Amit planned their wedding in about two weeks. Two weeks! And somehow they were able to gather all of their close friends and family, secure the perfect venue with the perfect caterer, find the perfect cake, the perfect DJ, photo booth, (the perfect photographer? ;)) and make the perfect cake toppers. I could not believe my ears when I heard they put their wedding together so quickly. Just goes to show, there is no right or wrong way to plan your wedding!

Their ceremony took place at the Seattle Municipal Court, in front of a row of windows showing off the city rooftops and Mount Rainier in the distance, with a handful of family and friends. After the marriage license was signed, everyone headed to the wedding reception at The Westin Seattle Hotel, where more friends were waiting to celebrate together.

Zoya and Amit’s wedding reception was one of the most fun receptions I have been to. Everyone was ready for a good time, running between the fabulous Indian food buffet, the photo booth, and the dance floor. Prashant, the DJ, sang songs and led mini dance lessons for everyone throughout the night. When the night was over, I wanted to get back up and do it all over again.

Zoya and Amit, I am so excited to get you back in front of my camera for your couple’s session in the fall, and I hope your entire marriage is just as full of fun and love as the day of your wedding.
