I have another set of dreamy, lovey engagement portraits to share with you all today. Meet Alex and Alex. They share the same name and the same love for each other, and after nine years together they are getting married in California next spring.

Alex and Alex (I’ll never get tired of saying that) met in seventh grade, but they didn’t start dating until the middle of their senior year in high school. They stayed together long distance throughout college, and then moved to Seattle. Goodness, it’s no wonder I love their love story so much—it sounds a lot like mine!

It’s always fun to get to know my couples as we walk around our location together, and find out how much we have in common. I always say I’m looking for couples who are crazy for each other and all about having fun together no matter what it is they’re doing, and Alex and Alex surely fit that bill. We walked all around Discovery Park and ended the engagement session on the beach, and they didn’t complain about the hike or the random stops along the way one bit. Nope, instead they enjoyed the time together loving on each other for the camera, and I ate it all up. It’s not hard to capture true smiles when that’s all a couple can do when they’re together.
