Seattle was in true, gloomy fashion for Hannah and Brandon’s winter wedding at A Chapel on Swan’s Trail, but the rain and the cold couldn’t stand in the way of them enjoying their special day. Nothing was going to stop Hannah from getting her portraits done outside in the quintessential Pacific Northwest weather. So we fully embraced what the weather was giving us. We headed out into the rain with a handful of cute, clear umbrellas perfectly suited for photos. Everyone cuddled together for warmth, laughing at the giant drops of water forming on their clothes, despite their best intentions. Sometimes you’ve just gotta roll with what a wedding day gives you.
Luckily, the cozy space of the chapel was the perfect setting to warm you right back up. Cozy December seemed to be the true theme of the evening. Candles lit the room with ambiance, and guests found themselves crowding around the hot stoves and fireplaces. There wasn’t a dry eye as Hannah and Brandon said their vows during their intimate ceremony, surrounded by candles and loved ones.
Winter weddings are some of my favorites. Something about the cold makes for an extra focus on the connection between a couple and their guests. Makes for extra cuddles, too!
Congratulations to this happy, cuddly couple.
