I can’t tell you how often I get couples traveling to Seattle from out of the state and asking me about setting up a portrait session while they’re here. Seattle really is such a romantic city, it’s just perfect for engagement pictures!

Jen and David were visiting Seattle from Colorado for a few days and wanted to commemorate the trip with some engagement portraits. While they’re in the beginning stages of planning their wedding, they wanted pictures they could share with their family and friends that really made a statement and reminded them of their trip. Jen told me they fully trusted me to take them to all the best Seattle spots and snag some non-touristy looking portraits, and I think I carried out that plan okay ;)

While the first part of the day had somewhat clear skies it started raining on us midway through the session, giving my fellow people from the southwest a real taste of Seattle for their pictures. We left wet but happy, and the love and excitement between Jen and David can be felt in every frame.
