Jessica and Marty met online through mutual friends. After spending just an afternoon with them, it is clear that they are a couple who likes to have a good time! While they like to travel and go on adventures together, they really spend most of their time around their home in North Bend. I mean, if I lived just a few minutes from Rattlesnake Lake, I would spend all my free time there, too.
And so because North Bend is near and dear to their hearts, we had to hit up all of the quintessential North Bend spots for Jessica and Marty’s engagement session. We started at Rattlesnake Lake, then headed over to a spot to capture the iconic Mt Si in the background. While we lucked out with not getting rained on at all during this session, there was definitely a storm coming in for the evening, which unfortunately left Mt Sit somewhat covered in clouds. But how much more PNW can you get, right? We’ll try to get that haystack mountain formation in on a clearer day, but for now I am all about these sweet portraits at the edge of the Snoqualmie Pass in your very typical Seattle weather!
When Jessica mentioned her dogs in her emails to me before their session, I told her she had to bring them along for some pictures. Because, obviously! So the furbabies joined in for some shots in front of the craggy Rattlesnake Ledge, as their humans donned their Disney outfits and fancy Nikes (Marty collects them!) I just love when I can capture images so true to a couple.
Jessica and Marty, I can’t wait for your wedding next spring! And I’m very excited to see you at Michelle and Malcolm’s wedding this spring, too ;)
xoxo
